My 2yr african grey has started licking the screws on her cage the last couple of days. She will lick for half an hour or more she is otherwise healthy can anyone shed any light  thanks

they sometimes do the strangest things!  It could be that he can taste food on there maybe?  Undecided

peggy unscrews hers she licks them, plays with them, then starts to turn them till she gets them off  she started like that so be careful , they become quit good escape artists  Grin Grin Grin
