Many of you already know from Facebook, but Mozart said her first clear words the other day.
We opened her cage door and sat down to eat breakfast. Mozart came flying over immediately, and since we knew we had not seen a morning bomb yet, hubby quickly placed her on her play stand and said "Go POOP!" She squatted, but wasn't quite ready to go yet. We both eyed her intently waiting to see the bomb so we could feel safe again

, and while we had our eyes peeled, she said "I LOVE YOU!"
Hubby and I looked at each other in disbelief, with wide eyes and mouths gaping. As quick as we could process that it ACTUALLY HAPPENED, we said "I LOVE YOU TOO!!!!!!!!", showered her with praise, and Neil even gave her an almond sliver. It was quite possibly the most exciting thing I can remember.

She hasn't said a word since, but she still practices a lot of garble in her "I love you" voice. Now instead of whistling the wolf whistle, she sort of says it -- she says "Weeee whewww."
