Ok, I'm Ali, Captain is the name of my grey. If you could post a picture of your bird then it might be easier to tell if a bird is an adult or a juvenile, however, in the absence of a hatch certificate, it is nearly impossible to tell a bird if it's over a year old. If your bird's eyes are grayish black and her tail feathers have a tinge of black at the ends, then she is under one year of age, assuming that you have a Congo African grey and not a Timneh African grey.

But if she has got clear yellowish eyes and a cherry red tail without any blackish color in it, then it's an adult bird which could be anywhere between 2 and 20 years of age.

What are you feeding her? if it's the seed mix containing millet, canary seed, oats, wheat, barley, safflower, etc.etc. than a good measurement is 3 spoons full of any baby formula. This will roughly equals to about 40-50 grams of seed mix. On top of that, you can give her fruits and vegetables such as apples (without the seeds), oranges, papaya, almost all kinds of berries, etc.etc.

Please read these two threads carefully and if you have any queries, feel free to post your question here.

I used to give my flock fresh stock in the morning and take out the feeding bowls at night. Some people don't leave the water bowl out at night. What you can do is to give her fruits and veggies (green leafy ones, or carrots) in the morning and then offer her seed mix and boiled corn around noon time.

It's upto you what routine you want to follow with sha sha that best suits your own timings. Where in India are you from?

Look closely at your parrot's eyes. Greys under 6 months of age will have very dark gray or black eyes. At a year of age, the eyes will turn a lighter gray. As your bird reaches approximately 2 years old, its eyes will turn a darker straw color. The iris will turn a light yellow between ages 3 and 5 as your bird reaches maturity

I'm sure by peanuts you mean 'monkey nuts' i.e. peanuts with shells. It is advisable to give her shelled peanuts to avoid the fungus that is somtimes present in the shell and also to avoid the pesticides sprayed on them.
