I am going to replace Lainey's perches with apple tree limbs. Is this a good idea? Advice is welcome. Thank you very much Bridget

bridget you should provide a variety of perches for lainey, some apple tree perches will be fine, but you could do with having a pediperch (concrete or sandy coating) which blunts the nails and differant widths for them to find whats most comfortable for them.
are they your apple trees? cos you want to be certain theyv not had pesticides used on them

I'm no expert on the best wooden perches. I get mine from the birdstore, and boy, do they enjoy peeling them. (as well as perching).I also have concrete and sandy perches. Sophie loves them the most, as Kiki loves peeling her perches. Sunny loves his rope perch the best. The girls sleep on the rope perch with Sunny in the middle.  Nancy
