Wonderful all natural/organic foods found extremely reasonable

My sister and I were having a "sister day" on yesterday and our pplans were to visit the local Amish Store to check out what they would might have for Lainey my 12 week old grey. Oh!!! Good Lord. They had shelf after shelf of items with no additives of any kind. i found "Bob's Red Mill" items.  Six grain cereal with flaxseed by the pound all organic. Natural raw whole flaxseeds by the pound. They too had several differnent oats and oat blends by the same company all were very very reasonable. www.bobsredmill.com is where all grey owners should look for high quality foods extremely reasonable. After reading a news article, I believe it was on ABC's site about the Amish being large owners of puppy mills, and the poor to shocking conditions they keep these poor dogs in, treating them as nothing but a financial commodity, and breeding them mercilessly.   i didn't know any of this sean. that is puppy farming in the extreme,things like this should be made illegal

Oh! Lord.The Amish Store just happened to have this particular brand of organic and all natural foods that I thought would be good for my parrot. I didn't know the rest of the story as Paul Harvey would have said.Maybe by buying from this site I recommended would not in any way reflect what you were talking about. Check the site out and even call them and ask them. Don't think for one minute I won't. Thanks to all.Bridget

i'm afraid though that by buying from them,some of the profits would go back into breeding more dogs. it's a viscious circle 

if you do ring them you're likley to be fobbed off,they wont admit to this over the phone now will they?
