African Grey Parrot
« on: February 26, 2011, 02:21:09 PM »

Hi I'm looking for a good patient person to buy our bird we love her but with two kids a dog and work commitments she is getting left out.
Her name is peach she is a year and 8 months old she talks and is tame.  she likes to fly around the house and land on your head or your arm depending on her mood. she loves cheese and veg and rice and pasta, she loves kids especially my son she is very fond of him and does her love dance towards him he is seven we find this very funny!! I will only sell her to the write person as she is a very good CAG. someone with experience is a suitable buyer someone who understands these birds. this is a reluctant sale so genuine offers only.
The sale of her is £600.00 she also comes with a cage.

I know the parrot needs a GOOD home only i get myself down at times thinking is it getting enough time and love of us as a family.
Selling it may not be the answer i just dont want a good bird like it is to not live its life not recieving the attention it truly needs

Where are you located? I am sure there is a good loving home out there for your bird,I know many may not agree with me,but I think if you can't give this bird the time and attention it needs you are doing the right thing trying to re-home it,before there is alot of damage done to the bird.Best wishes Marilyn/Pepper

Thanks Marilyn just want to say we as a family love the bird It does get attention i let it out the cage everyday for a bout a hour. We talk to it a awful lot, Its times when we go camping and on our  hols  and having someone else to take care of her is the hardest bit. Ideally a friend who i could trust would be a ideal buyer. I will never sell her to anybody I would have to get to know them first and peaches would have to like them also.

Clarissa1976  what ever decision you make is always the hardest but the correct decision for you and your baby we are all here to support you and help i have 2 babies and sometimes they are not out of the cages for a few days due to commitments then the next they are out all day every day so we all fully understand we all have to work and do things that dont involve them

clarisa1976     why are you keeping this baby? Please dont do so out of guilt? Baby was an inconvenience in your life. Baby has so much to give with the right family. Nancy

I don't think she's selling Peaches.
