where is the bald patch? if it's on his wing something could be irritating him there,or he could just be over preening himself  :(

If he's six months old then the moulting comes quite early to him, but that's not unusual, their first moult is the heaviest when they shed loads of feathers a day and get newer ones in their place. Take good care of him and give him lots of healthy foods such as veggetables and fruits.

And welcome to the forum from Ali/Captain.

Great news, maybe try some foraging toys,so he has to keep busy to get his treat.

ah that's good then,no bald patch. if this is just attention seeking, how often does he come out to play or have a fly around?

agreed more toys for stimulation, like foraging toys. roll up some clean news paper into balls and put some treats in the centres.place them in a cardboard box (small one,or shoe box or tissue box) he can then either have this in or out of his cage  :)

dont feed too much seed, more veggies than fruit. or pellets if you can get hold of them.
