  he is about a month behind,poor jasper 

in fact he's all mixed up at the moment,he asks for breakfast in the afternoon 

sean and anyone who's birds are learning to speak. this will all come given time. our amazon rocky hardly said a word,but he was loved loads 

i just talk to jasper about anything and everything,i did the same with debbies birds. chocko looked at me like i was talking foreign

Koosie has a huge vocabulary, I just cant understand a lot of it, accents and some of it sounds like an old lady that smoked all her life and always sounds like she has a frog in her throat(Aunt Frieda) from South Africa, makes me laugh coz it sounds just like her and I can't understand a thing. Other things are crystal clear like "bye bye" every time I am leaving, used to get to me but now I expect it, now I say hello every time I come in the door and sometimes  I get byelo. I can't believe she hasn't started cursing yet  . I'm sure when I least need her to she will.

Awwww Sean, they only curse, if you ALLOW them to curse. If you find it funny, they curse. If you DON'T approve, they may pick up a word or two, but if you correct the behavior, they stop pretty quick. Sophie learned the word "asshole", within a day of hearing it. Kids thought it was a riot. Mom did not! I think you know who won !  Nancy

Charlie has only cursed once. We had a friends saff puppy for a week while they were on holiday. Of course the dog chewed every thing in sight table/ chair people nothing was safe. In the end hubby called the dog a fu#king dog Charlie picked it up said it once when the mother in law was here but luckily no more since.

     Sophie, 11 years old, still talks baby talk. She rambles on and on....laughs to herself.
     She is soooo caring and loving to people, easy to get along with. When I watch her with the birds, she remains caring and loving....but different. She goes cage to cage, checking out whats going on. They all look to her for approval. It is obvious, she rules.Its time to take her, to meet Rosie. See what she thinks! I'm going to take her tomorrow. I know Rosie, will seem like an undisciplined child. Thats okay! Sophie will see beyond that. If she doesn't, I don't know what will happen!  Nancy

Im surprised mine dont curse, im terrible for it especially when im tripping over the dogs all day, i only use nice words when im talking to my fids but my language can be blue when im talking to anyone else.

The teenagers teach her sooo many rap songs, she can't even comprehend what they are singing. She justs starts clucking and dancing, focusing on the beat. I know not to pick her up. This is the only time she will bite. I suspect from too much excitement. She is a true rap girl! LOL   Nancy
