new cage for peggy and georgie
« on: July 23, 2010, 05:53:18 AM »
Well wish me luck folks iv got a new  double cage for Peggy and Georgie as Georgie was far to small for such a big girl she couldn't have a good flap in it , and it would have been unfair to put Peggy in a small cage after she was use to a big one for so long, so the new one is a double cage with a divider in the middle, I'm not going to be able to to do the transaction from the other cages slowly like i did with Peggy as there will be no room for 3 cages in my dinning room so tmz were just going to have to put them straight in it :-\ :-\ :-\ :o wish me luck ,my vet told me to be careful of the divider as they can attack claws and toes as they climb around so I'm going to have to find some were that will make a sheet of perspex or strong plastic to atach to prevent them attacking each other, Oh the things we do for our beloved babies  let you all know tmz night how it all goes please all pray its smooth  ::) ::) ::) ::) :) :)

Hope all goes well Carol...  the amount of money we have spent on Darwin since his arrival is ridiculous... and there are still things I want for him.   ;D

Don't worry Carol, they will take the new cage like fish to water. You should, however, put the perches at the same height so that none of them have the superiority/inferiority complex.
Good Luck

I know it's like asking you to climb K-2 but can you please put up some pics or email them to Nicki so that we may have a look at their new mansion?

funny but i have three cages, all are big...but they now tend to 'hang out' on the same cage...it took awhile for them to 'get along'... :-*
