Step Up Update
« on: June 08, 2010, 01:18:19 AM »
We have only had Zoe for about 9 days, but she is already pretty comfortable with my wife Maria. She does some sort of sexual looking dance with her but then stops and just likes to hang out with her. She loves for my wife to scratch her head. She will step up for my wife and even says "goodnight Zoe" when my wife puts her to bed. She is actually really good with all the girls in the house, but she is nervous about me. She will not even step up for me when she has flow down from her cage. I do not know what her past is with men, but she is obviously not comfortable around men.

I am just whistling with her and spend time by her cage talking to her. I make a point to be near her and my wife when she has her out. I am just trying to get her used to me. We make a point to kiss and show affection in front of her.

Does anyone have any other suggestions we can try?

Thanks

do not allow your grey, tp like woman over men. You need to start feeding her, soley. Treat your grey, like a two year old. Your expectation, need to be known.Everyday, work with her... once she steps up, take her away from her cage and play! once you let her know your expectation, she will respond. Behavioral limits, are important. Socialization, is extremely important!Sophies favorite game, is to chase "bare feet". once she has "caught a toe", she wins! (never bites.) She LOVES sleepovers...all teenagers are aware, they may wake up with a bird on their sleeping bag.Sophie always tells me....SHHHHH!   Nancy
