Silly Billy and his morning ritual

every morning without fail, as i do my morning billy chores, i change his water and food.
as soon as his clean water goes in, he decides he wants to try to bath in it, and make it dirty again.

i help him a little with his misting bottle as he struggles to bath in his water bowl.
i have tried putting a tub of water in his cage for him but he tried tipping that over then goes back to his water bowl to bath in 

heres a video of him this morning lol, its on a side so just tilt your head  he even tried flicking his water back at me when i spray him

that's exactly what Peggy does only she literally jumps in her water bowl, so it goes every were

lol it is fun to watch, he struggles but he refuses to use a tub that i give him that wud be ideal for him to bath in lol

the thing is i will wait till he is finished in the bowl, then change it again, and he starts doing it again, he must like bird feet flavoured water 

another habbit he has picked up is whistling at early hours of the morning 5-6AM ish and he wont stop till we wake up, and when we get up he goes straight back to sleep

you should cover him up,i do with Peggy and she stays quiet till i take it of the cage, and every morning she says the same thing give us a kiss, just before i lek her out, funny Peggy wont use a bowl either, i believe cjs does exactly the same thing

lol, billy's so cute  ...yes, CJS does that as well, and just the other day did 'graduate' into a bigger bowl, and seemed to enjoy it too...of course it made more mess though, but he enjoyed his swim pool on the hot day, LOL

Awww that's reaaly sweet. Potter's a dirty boy I think. Hates being misted, I think, he thinks he's being punished when we mist him! Won't use a water bowl either.

make a game if misting like i do with peggy she used to hate it now she loves it even going in shower with me a make a big fuss and game all the time then wrap her up in a towel all snugly, and give her a treat, so when the spray bottle comes out shes realy excited, if im in da shower without heer she stands by the door shouting hey, as if hey let me in, its realy funny

I'm going to keep trying. He just seems to hate it. Total wimp but I love him.

i'll agree with carol, cjs hated water at first too, even misting...stick with it and make it fun and potter may eventually realize how fun it is...
