2nd. cage for outdoors

We are thinking of getting ChaCha a second cage for the summer months so that he can stay in the yard perhaps during the day.

No.1. Do you think it's a good idea??
No.2. What should we do to get him used to it, he HATES any kind of changes we make.
No.3. Is it OK for him to spend a few hours a day in the sunny yard?

Actually it is not a bad idea provided:
a: the cage is placed strategically so that whenever he finds the heat too much he can have some shaded area to rest
b: there should be plenty of breeze but again some portion where he can get away with the direct wind
c: it should be secure so that his safety is not jeaperdized

i have a outside cage for Peggy she loves it i only allow her in it when I'm outside with her, wouldn't want the cats to frighten her

cjs loves going outside in his cage (i use his nightcage, which is smaller, and just roll him out)...cjs also prefers the shade over the sun so i keep him shaded...we sit together and relax
