Dome top or play pen?

Hi All,
I was wondering what everyone prefers for their african greys - a large dome top cage or one with a play pen on the top? We are preparing for getting our grey, and just wanted some opinions before purchasing a cage!

I was wondering the same thing. I might be getting a grey.

  Buddy Boo house is a very large dome top,  but just bought a smaller house with a play top to use on our screen in deck in the summer

  and to try and use it in the computer room in winter, because that room stays warmer at night with the door closed, that small house

  would be just for sleeping.  Well long story short I haven't gotten him near it

cjs has the playtop...i do like it, as i don't have it sitting on the cage, but beside the cage connected with ladders and ropes...this way he has a larger play area, scurrying around from place to place...

...his night cage (smaller) is a dome top, he's not in this cage as much so the play are doesn't matter for me on this one...

I have the Avian Adventures Grande play top for Lulu and Frankie who share.  Before this cage they had a Kings cage that was a dome top that oppened up.  I never used the opening up on top thing because it was too high for me to get them down.

The play top has bowls that you can put in it, and I give them their soft food there.  It also has a perch and 2 toy hangers.  Next to the cage I have a wooden play area that is attached to the cage with rope perches and a boing.

I like the setup and would keep the playtop.  A llink to see the cage is below.  It also comes in smaller sizes.  I have a big macaw cage because I have the two birds in it.
