Bella found a piece of velcro a few weeks ago and out of all her toys she plays with this piece of velcro the most. I think its a combination of the noise it makes and being able to pull it apart and stick it back together again.  ??? ???

thanks debbie- new toy idea!....does she pull it apart by herself?...that's amazing! not sure if cjs would bother (but i'll give it a try)...he seems to like to chew his toys for a minute, then throw them off the side of the cage, that's about it.   ::)

Thats all Bella does with her toys but she loves the velcro, i think shes mainly chewing it as it makes a funny noise and she likes the feel of it on her tongue.  ;D ;D

Its only a small piece that came wrapped round the wire on my lap top charger, she much prefers the velcro to the wire to play with.  ;D Going to get her a bigger piece though i think.  ;D

I've got to get some velcro.  I can see that being a big hit.  Lulu has discovered playing with my clothes now.  Usually she just goes into the folds of my shirt searching for something.  She did it yesterday and tore a big hole in my shirt!   :o  >:(

I really liked that shirt.  It was a nice soft tee that's just nice and comfy.  I guess I won't be able to wear it in public, unless of course I act as if it's supposed to be that holey.    ::)

We could start our own designer wear. Made by "parrot fashion" At least it would like were ragamuffins by design!!!  ;D ;D A few holes and green and white poo all over. I can really see it taking off!  ;D At least for us lot as we have no choice but to wear "parrot fashion" anyway,  ;) ;) ::)

I worry all the time about going out with poo on me and not realizing it.  I need an alarm on the front door to go off when I'm covered in it.

It's inevitable, it's going to happen, so I think you're right.  We should start our own label.  We can intentionally go out with our holey shirts with green and white poo all over and say look at my new shirt.  It's from parrot fashion, it's a very exclusive line.  It takes a long time to make one of these shirts, and not everybody has them yet!!   ;D  ;D

Maybe we can sell them too and make some money on the side!   ;D  ;D

BTW, have you seen the necklaces that are made to be bird toys?  The person wears the necklace to keep the parrots happy.   ;D
