I think that snakes are just beautiful! So many colours and patterns... And corn snakes are like the perfect pet. Easy to look after, noise and smell free, just feed it around once a week! And you can get so many morphs - even a pure white one! And they are small - they only ever get to around 5 feet.

And I have a big big phobia of spiders but the little fat tarantulas are not too bad. Although they creep me out a little lolz

They don't really creep me out, I just don't think I'd keep one as a pet.  5 ft...wow, my hubby would faint.   lol KJ

I think snakes are amazing too. I have two ball pythons. ET is 16 years old. I also have her daughter Seven. I hatched her from an egg. She will be 10 in December. Et is almost 6 feet. Seven is 5 feet. Gandolf and Gypsy see them in their cage but don't seem to pay any attention to them. Of course I never have them out at the same time. As far as tarantula's they are fascinating in a tank but if it were to get out I would have a heart attack.lol

Not a real spider/taratula fan either, but taratula's are intriguing,  just don't think that I could hold one.  I have a "pet"  spider outside my front door just now.  Nice big web,  been there for a couple of weeks,   About 1 inch or so, with hairy legs.  Called her charlotte  :D  of course.  She's cathching lots of flys...fascinating.  I dislike flies a lot...so it works for me.  KJ
